Leasing throughout the Greater Seattle/Eastside office markets was heavily influenced by significant growth in the tech sector. On a submarket level, Lake Union, Pioneer Square, Kirkland, the Seattle CBD and Bellevue CBD all benefited with positive absorption. New development continued to present an excellent opportunity for tenants with larger space requirements, with preleasing contributing the largest percentage of the total amount of space consumed.
